Your Role as a Deputy Manager <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/b> within Children’s Services:<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/b>
<\/p>

  • Support children to reach their full potential.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support the Home Manager in day -to -day management and operation of the Home – Maintaining a compliant, safe and homely environment.<\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Work in a child centred way to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Good Knowledge of the Children’s Homes regulations and quality standards.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Act as a role model and mentor to staff, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the highest standards of care and ethical practice.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Experience of compiling a staff rota.<\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Undertake monthly staff supervisions and Team Meetings.<\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to the Staff Team.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Expected to work across a full rota including sleep -ins and long days, alongside manager hours.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
