Role: Full Stack Developer - Java (Springboot)/Vue.js

Day Rate: £400 - £500 p/d Outside IR35

Location: Remote First – Occasional travel to Bristol

Duration: 6 months – extensions highly likely

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing front-end website architecture.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages.
  • Developing back-end website applications.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring responsiveness for applications.
  • Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Designing and developing APIs.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be able to obtain either BPSS or SC clearance.
  • Proficiency with Java Development with Spring boot and ideally familiarity with Python.
  • Proficiency with VueJS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Stage 1: Culture Add Interview with Talent Partner. This initial interview will focus on assessing how well you would fit within our company culture. The Talent Partner will explore values, work style, and how you might contribute positively to our team environment.
  • Stage 2: Interview with Technical Team. This will be a 1.5 hour technical interview with our team. They will be using this time to dive deeper into your fundamentals and experience with Java and Vue. It will be a Q+A based video interview.
