Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) with strong expertise in React and Python to join our engineering team. The candidate is a self-driven engineer with a startup mentality, capable of working independently while delivering robust, production‑grade systems. This role requires someone who understands the full product lifecycle, can think in systems, and clearly communicates technical decisions, trade‑offs, and non‑functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using React (frontend) and Python (backend).
- Build production‑ready features that integrate with internal and external APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement REST APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Analyse and communicate non‑functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Understand and manage the impact of backend architecture on frontend performance and user experience.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
- Integrate external services and emerging technologies such as LLM‑based services where appropriate.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer.

- Solid backend development experience using Python.

- Backend development using Python (API development, service design).
- Experience with REST APIs, API integration, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Understanding of system design principles and scalable architectures.
- Ability to analyse and explain non‑functional requirements (performance, scalability, reliability, security).
- Understanding of how backend design impacts frontend performance and behavior.
- Experience integrating LLMs or AI services is a strong plus.
