AMD is seeking an experienced EMEA GTM sales leader to create and execute the strategy to enable AWS sales, AWS partners, and AMD enterprise sellers to grow AMD’s EMEA business with EC2. As the GTM Sales Manager, you will drive alignment with the global AWS GTM teams to build offerings and integrate into co‑sell workstreams with AWS sellers and partners. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships across the global AWS GTM community and driving alignment internally across partner management, sales, marketing and channel teams to define and promote AWS‑AMD GTM solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to engage at an executive level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and solution architects. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated abilities to think strategically about business, products and technical challenges, with skills to build and convey compelling value propositions across a variety of GTM domains. The position also requires a strong technical acumen, hands‑on experience working with partners, and a working knowledge of software architecture and the enterprise software landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with AWS GTM teams, partner management teams, and ecosystem partners globally to define product strategies, develop and execute joint sales and go‑to‑market (GTM) programs.
- Set and manage revenue targets and work with partner management and sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals.
- Identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a joint value proposition for using AMD on AWS.
- Understand the technical requirements and work closely with the AMD GPU BU, EYPC BU, Cloud BU, and AI teams to guide the direction of AWS GTM solutions.
- Develop program success metrics for offering adoption.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior leadership.
- Attend various EMEA sales conferences and present product solutions to audiences during the events.
- Manage established AWS GTM partnerships by ensuring teams are well‑informed, empowered, and actively contributing to the growth of AWS‑AMD consumption.
- Collaborate with the AMD Business Strategy and Marketing team to develop supporting materials that align with revenue objectives.
Preferred Experience
- Proven experience in selling and marketing public cloud solutions and software platforms to both cloud‑native and enterprise clients.
- Proven expertise in EMEA sales and go‑to‑market leadership.
- Strong track record of developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Demonstrated success in managing programs across cross‑functional teams, implementing effective processes, and coordinating diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive background in structuring, leading, negotiating, and executing corporate or business transactions.
- Ability to attract, develop, and mentor talent with an emphasis on long‑term growth.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A Plus
- Demonstrated expertise with AWS, including EC2 properties and technologies.
- Proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Experience communicating complex information to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive stakeholders, clients, and internal teams.
- Strong understanding of business operations with a background in developing scalable programs.
- Strong Cloud and/or AWS experience/knowledge – consisting of ISV and channel preferred.
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related technical field preferred.
