We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to maintain, install and service mechanical installations across all HVAC.
Duties
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units
- Diagnose faults and perform reactive repairs on HVAC equipment at various client sites
- Install, commission, and test HVAC systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and regulations
- Service equipment such as AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, and fan coil units
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations, F‑Gas regulations, gas safe and industry standards
- Complete service reports, risk assessments, and maintenance records accurately using digital or paper systems
- Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdowns in a timely manner
- Manage van stock, tools, and spare parts efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients, site managers, and the helpdesk
- Identify and report potential issues or opportunities for system improvements or energy efficiency
- Work independently while coordinating with other engineers and subcontractors when required
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times
Experience
- Strong Experience in HVAC
- Strong Understanding of BMS systems (Specific Training will be provided)
- Understanding of refrigeration recovery systems
- At least 5 years experience working in the UK HVAC industry
