What you'll do
As one of two EHS Coordinators, your main focus will be to provide a positive EHS culture and support the EHS Manager and Compliance Team to implement, monitor and review proactive and preventative EHS practices across the site. As EHS Coordinator you'll play a vital role in supporting the company's strategic objectives, whilst at the same time fostering a culture of safety first and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Day to day EHS and compliance support to the site management team.
- Assisting with the preparation and implementation of EHS management systems.
- Assisting with the preparation of documentation to ensure the site team works within the required statutory and regulatory standards.
- Ensuring all site communications, including noticeboard information is regularly refreshed and kept relevant.
- Carry out regular audits and inspections to ensure the site is maintained in accordance with H&S and environmental permit/standards.
- Record EHS data on T100, GDC and external systems.
- Assist in ensuring all legal/regulatory assessments are completed (PUWER, LOLER, PRN).
- Coordinate the safe use and storage of COSHH.
- Support the design and delivery of EHS training, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Investigate accidents, injuries and prepare necessary internal reports.
- Monitor PTW, Risk Assessments/SSOWs.
- Coordinate emergency evacuation drills and report on findings.
- Cover for EHS Manager in their absence.
What you'll bring
- Recognised H&S qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent).
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced highly automated production environment within a H&S/Compliance role.
- Grade C or above English, Maths and Science qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislations (COSHH, PUWER, LOLR, CDM and environmental regulations).
- Valid current UK driving licence.

- NEBOSH General Certificate.
