Job Summary
As part of the warehouse team, work to ensure the effective running of the plant by ensuring all goods inwards are received, receipted and located correctly and that all finished goods are picked, loaded and despatched in a timely manner, in line with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, load and despatch finished goods
- Receipt and locate goods accurately on the business computer system and sign off any damaged goods
- Despatch goods. Pick and sign off picking lists. Load and sign off picking lists. Load, stow and, where appropriate, secure cargo
- Housekeeping – maintain clean and tidy warehouse
- Adhere to Health and Safety practices including completing daily safety checks on FLT
- Deliveries – restrict access to warehouse while unloading; work with team for safe unloading and locating
- Toluene & Silo deliveries – follow procedures with all safety aspects
- Assist with unloading and locating pallet truck deliveries
- Follow inventory management procedures for accurate tracking and traceability
- Handle procedures to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups during storage and transportation
- Know quality standards, data integrity, and maintaining product integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality challenges and ensure compliance
- Adhere to hygiene rules and wear appropriate protective gear
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Counterbalance licence desirable
- VNA Certificate desirable
- Excellent teamwork
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good levels of service to internal and external customers
- Able to build relationships at all levels
- Experience of shift work desirable
