The Quality Apprenticeship at Amcor Heanor provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills, technical knowledge, and professional behaviours within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Apprentices will work alongside experienced professionals while completing a structured training programme and formal qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in monitoring product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Support quality checks, inspections, and testing activities.
- Help investigate non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote quality, hygiene standards across the site.
- Quality management systems
- Product specification and compliance requirements
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Data collection, reporting, and attention to detail
- Professional communication within a quality function
Apprentices will complete a nationally recognised apprenticeship standard, which may include:
- Business Admin Level 3
- Quality Practitioner (Level 4 or equivalent)
Training is delivered through a blend of on-the-job learning, college or training provider attendance, and workplace assessments.
