Our Quality Apprenticeship is designed to help individuals build strong foundations through hands-on experience, structured training, and ongoing support. The Quality Apprenticeship at Amcor Heanor provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills, technical knowledge, and professional behaviours within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Apprentices will work alongside experienced professionals while completing a structured training programme and formal qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Support quality checks, inspections, and testing activities.
  • Help investigate non-conformances and customer complaints.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
  • Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote quality, hygiene standards across the site.
What You Will Learn
  • Quality management systems

Training and Qualifications

Apprentices will complete a nationally recognised apprenticeship standard, which may include:

  • Business Admin Level 3
  • Quality Practitioner (Level 4 or equivalent)

Training is delivered through a blend of on-the-job learning, college or training provider attendance, and workplace assessments.
