Responsibilities

As a Site Services (Electrically Bias) Engineer you will primarily be responsible for keeping the factory infrastructure and Services running, including continuous improvements and upgrading of the plant on an ongoing basis, ensuring it is energy efficient and works at optimum performance levels. As part of a small team you would be expected to maintain the required records of all health and safety and regulatory checks carried out by Amcor staff and contractors. Notably Fixed Wiring, Water treatment and Factory consumers (Water Gas and Electricity and Compressed Air). This is a hands‑on job role, with high responsibilities reporting directly to the Engineering (Projects) Manager when it comes to Site Services control.

  • Are a confident and clear communicator
  • Have a strong team ethos working
  • Are well organised and can take a methodical approach, organising workload priorities, manage related contractors
  • Have a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Have a good work ethic and attendance record
  • Are comfortable completing associated paperwork, including putting together Capex requests for projects
  • Have experience of working in a fast‑paced work environment
  • Have experience with working across electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines
  • Have completed a time served engineering apprenticeship, Industrial Electrical & Mechanical Qualification, IEE wiring regulations
