We are looking for someone to join our small but busy Warehouse Despatch Team in Norwich, as a Despatch assistant. This role represents an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding but rewarding role, critical to our business success.

The job will involve internal liaison with Manufacturing and Sales personnel, and external liaison with hauliers and customers, so the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate good communication skills (both written and verbal) alongside a friendly but persuasive manner to deal with external clients.

Experience of Microsoft Office packages is paramount, and knowledge of Warehouse Management systems and import/export paperwork would be an advantage. Ideally, candidates should have 2-3 years experience working in a fast-moving office environment. Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills will be essential in this challenging but rewarding role.

We are looking for a team player who can help us to grow with our customers, boost one culture, and capture opportunities. The role will work on a day shift pattern (40 hours), Monday to Friday, with a ½ hour unpaid meal break. While the office hours are 08:30 to 17:00hrs, there is some flexibility with starting and finishing times.
