Responsibilities
- Inspecting film and bags for color variation, width, length, seal strength and visual defects.
- Complete accurate quality checks and required paperwork on a timely basis.
- Packing film and bags in cartons, according to workorder specifications.
- Verify weights and counts of product, while maintaining correct carton and skid counts.
- Weigh and manage scrap.
- Responsible for maintaining work station in a clean well-organized manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work 12-hour shifts.
- Attendance and punctuality are crucial aspects of this position.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences
