What youll do As part of the on-site Maintenance Engineering Team, with your main purpose is to diagnose and rectify electrical, and/or mechanical faults across the plant to maintain production efficiency.
Job Responsibilities Personally own and follow through on reactive maintenance tasks.
Ensure all electrical plant systems and equipment is in a safe and robust state for production.
Report and document each breakdown issue.
Liaising with Production to ensure tasks are completed with minimal disruption and to a high standard.
Conduct PPM in line with PPM plan to ensure compliance with manufacturers recommendations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
What youll bring Recognised maintenance qualification.
Strong electrical bias with mechanical experience in a fast-moving, automated production setting.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an industrial electrical/electronic maintenance environment.
Ideally, 18th Edition certification.
Hands-on experience with PPM, fault finding, and repairs in an industrial setting.
UK driving licence.
What will make you stand out Experience with inverters, PLCs, and PC-controlled process/production equipment .
Background as a Maintenance Engineer in the plastic extrusion or recycling or similar heavy industrial industry.
Previous work in a 24/7 production environment .
