Contract Type: Temporary (Replacement)
Job Purpose: As a vital member of our Coffee, Petcare & Specialties sales team, you will fuel the growth of our Emerging Growth Account portfolio and help expand our footprint in both France and the UK. You will nurture existing “house accounts,” identify new growth opportunities, and actively manage lead generation and follow-up. Your mission: maximise account potential and convert leads into long-term partners by articulating the unique value of our offerings and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role bridges customer needs, sales strategy and marketing initiatives — playing a key role in scaling our business in a fast-growing market. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager Business Development EMEA and you will be working alongside experienced Key Account Managers and Business Developers.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage & Grow Existing Accounts: Maintain and develop Emerging Growth Accounts (≈€100k) and house accounts. Monitor account health and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities. Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted point of contact.
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Follow up on inbound and outbound leads in a timely and structured way. Qualify prospects and progress them through the sales funnel. Ensure accurate record keeping and reporting in CRM.
- Value Proposition & Pitching: Articulate clear and compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs. Present product benefits and support customers during the decision process. Handle objections and contribute to negotiations when required.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams to align strategies. Share customer insights to support product, marketing and commercial decisions. Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across touchpoints.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, inside sales, business development or customer-facing roles.
- Mandatory experience in B2B, in packaging or in a related sector (FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, ...).
- Proven track record (or strong interest) in account maintenance/growth and lead generation.
- Full professional proficiency in French and English.
