The Product Management Specialist plays a central role in enabling Product Line performance by transforming data, market insights, and operational information into actionable recommendations. The role ensures accurate execution of product line analytics, supports pricing and positioning work, maintains key product databases, and contributes to product lifecycle and innovation activities. As the execution engine of the Product Management team, the Specialist bridges daily analytical work with commercial and strategic needs, ensuring strong collaboration with Product Managers, Sales, and cross‑functional partners.
Main Responsibilities
- Product & Market Analysis
- Conduct product/market and performance analyses covering growth, sales, and profitability.
- Perform data analysis (Power BI inputs/outputs) and prepare insights for PM and Sales.
- Update market share data regularly for assigned product lines.
- Contribute to market intelligence across customer insights, trends, pricing benchmarks, competitor analysis, and sustainability.
- Product Line Management Support
- Support understanding of market prices and modelling of market scenarios.
- Contribute to building product line market positioning and value propositions.
- Manage the product database and ensure data accuracy.
- Conduct cost modelling and support understanding of unit costs and cost-drivers.
- Track profitability trends – when available- and generate improvement insights.
- Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
- Support pipeline activity reviews, tracking volume, velocity, and vitality.
- Contribute to supply & demand forecasting and capacity tracking.
- Support end‑of‑life management and product rationalization activities.
- New Product Development (NPD) Support
- Collect consumer/market insights relevant to NPD testing and briefs.
- Create NPD briefs for H1/H2 and support for H3 categories.
- Provide pricing inputs for NPD.
- Support product launch and go‑to‑market activities.
- Lead execution of product updates & improvements.
- Provide analytical inputs for business cases & Capex Support through documentation and cross‑functional input alignment.
- Sales Tools, Market Information & Communication
- Update product information in Webpack/website environments.
- Collect and compile product success stories for commercial use.
- Support creation of sales tools and training materials.
- Coordinate and prepare presentation materials for customer meetings.
- Collaboration & Team Spirit
- Align closely with Sales and Product Line Managers on customer topics and product performance.
- Support customer and stakeholder communication as required.
- Maintain collaborative interactions across internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal team discussions, alignment, and operational routines.
- Actively participate in building a collaborative and data‑driven Product Management culture.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or another analytical discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in product analysis, data analytics, commercial support, or similar role preferred.
- Strong analytical and technical skills (Excel, Power BI, modelling tools).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Understanding of product lifecycles, pricing, and market dynamics preferred.
- Commercial curiosity and interest in markets, customers, and growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a matrix environment.
- Professional fluency in English. Other languages valued.
