Role Overview
The Contract Manager will focus on contract risk assessment, negotiation support, and business partnering. The role reviews and redlines customer terms and conditions, identifies contractual risks and proposes mitigation strategies, supports customer negotiations, and ensures adherence to Amcor’s risk review process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and redline customer terms and conditions and other commercial documents
- Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Lead projects with moderate risk profiles and support customer negotiations to ensure an acceptable risk outcome for Amcor
- Act as a trusted business partner to the Commercial team, applying combined business and legal judgment to proposed opportunities
- Leverage internal and external subject matter experts to support recommendations
- Ensure compliance with Amcor’s Commercial Contract Guide and risk review process
- Support continuous improvement initiatives driven by insights from the CLM platform
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Law, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience reviewing and managing sales contracts and commercial agreements
- Strong understanding of legal and commercial provisions
- Experience negotiating terms and conditions and driving deals to closure
- High proficiency in English required — additional languages are a plus
- Ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed global environment within structured governance frameworks
- Organised, collaborative, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
