About the Role
You’re an innovative thinker, passionate about the planet and eager to play a role in creating sustainable packaging that keeps the world healthy, fed and working. You’ll be checking that all components are produced effectively, efficiently and to company and customer standards at all times. You will report to the Production Manager. Working hours depend on department. Shifts consist of double days (6am‑2pm, 2pm‑10pm).
Key Job Accountabilities
- Carry out work instructions for start of production as laid down in the IMS manual.
- Sort labels and packing specs for production.
- Control quality of all components produced.
- Carry out all post‑production quality checks as required.
- Carry out four‑hourly checks on all production machines as required.
- Carry out daily retention checks on all flip‑top components.
- Carry out component capacity checks as required.
- Check all colours against standards, file away and record new colour standards to keep the system up to date.
- Ensure all components are packaged, labelled and palletised in line with customer and company requirements.
- Liaise with shift supervisors on all production problems.
