Reports To: Director Product Management Containers and Reusables

Scope: RPSI Container Product Lines and associated manufacturing locations
Decision making scope: Responsible for accurate product data maintenance, reporting, and following agreed processes. Escalates exceptions when needed.
Role Impact: Supports business performance through high-quality product data, responsive support, and useful analysis.
Level of autonomy: Low to medium – works independently on day-to-day tasks with guidance on priorities and complex topics.
The Product Line Analyst supports the product management team by providing data-driven insights, conducting market research, and ensuring internal alignment across functions. The Product Line Analyst supports the business by maintaining an accurate and well-organized product database. The role manages product creations and updates, ensures agreed processes are followed, and provides reporting and analysis to support Product Management and other functions. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and provides a high level of service and responsiveness.
Main Responsibilities
- Product Database Management
- Maintain and update the product database.
- Create new product records and update existing products.
- Ensure product information is accurate and complete.
- Follow agreed processes for product changes and approvals.
- Help improve data quality and consistency.
- Support users with product data queries.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Extract product data and prepare regular reports.
- Support analysis on capacity, product features, portfolio mix, and trends.
- Create reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Turn data into clear summaries for stakeholders.
- Product Management Support
- Support Product Managers with day-to-day activities.
- Assist with portfolio reviews and data preparation.
- Support new product launches with system setup and data readiness.
- Help prepare business updates and presentations.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Work with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
- Respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Build strong working relationships across functions.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

- Provide strong internal customer service.
- Support customer requests requiring product data or information.

Profile
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- Initial experience in product analysis, marketing, or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
- Good understanding of product and market dynamics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation.
