You’re an innovative thinker, passionate about the planet and eager to play a role in creating sustainable packaging that keeps the world healthy, fed and working. You’ll be delivering high-quality engineering support across electrical and mechanical disciplines, ensuring optimal performance of production assets through planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm. These shifts will alternate.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on automated and semi‑automated production equipment.
- Diagnose faults using electrical and mechanical schematics, PLC interfaces, and instrumentation tools.
- Support CI projects, equipment upgrades, and refurbishment activities.
- Maintain compliance with BRC, 6S, and site‑specific H&S protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate technical findings to engineering leadership.
- Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).
- Proven experience in a Maintenance Engineering role, including fault finding, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Competency in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with working knowledge of the other may be considered.
- Familiarity with production technologies, sensors, actuators, drives, and control systems.
- Desirable: Experience in plastics manufacturing and lean engineering environments.
