Join AmcoGiffen as a Yard Electrician. Location: Barnsley; travel throughout the UK required. You will lead electrical installation and maintenance across head office and site compounds nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Installation of emergency lighting systems
- PAT testing and electrical safety inspections
- Wiring and re-wiring of site compounds and infrastructure
- Fault diagnosis and repairs
- Maintenance of small power tools and equipment
- Supporting site set-up activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations
- Review live and historical asset data
- Configure electrical systems and software
- Upload/download firmware and software updates
- Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Connect instrumentation and update firmware
- Participate in a call-out rota, providing support across multiple sites
What weβre looking for
- Recognised Electrical Installations Qualification β City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Proven commitment to high standards of Health & Safety
- Willingness and ability to travel across the UK
- Valid Full UK Driving License
