About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join our Warrington-based team, delivering a diverse portfolio of rail station and civil engineering projects, maintenance, and renewals across the North West & Central region. This dynamic, fast‑paced role involves leading multiple schemes from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Project & Site Leadership
- Lead day-to-day site activities across multiple projects
- Plan, coordinate and supervise works from mobilisation to completion
- Ensure delivery in line with programme, budget and quality expectations
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, contract requirements, health & safety plans, environmental and quality standards
- Promote a strong safety‑first culture across all teams
- Commercial & Programme Control
- Work closely with commercial teams to manage costs and protect margins
- Monitor progress and manage variations, risks and change control
- Ensure tender allowances and budgets are maintained
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Build strong working relationships with Network Rail, clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide regular reporting on progress, risks and performance
- Team & Delivery Management
- Lead multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors
- Drive performance, productivity and quality across projects
- Support continuous improvement and best practice delivery
About You
- Experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent within rail, civils or infrastructure maintenance
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering and building asset maintenance works
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Experience working within Network Rail or NEC contracts (desirable)
