Location: Various sites across throughout the Wales & Western region from Paddington to South Wales.

Are you a qualified Electrician looking to develop your career in the rail industry? We are looking for motivated Electricians to support a growing portfolio of Systems Fixed Plant and Electrical Installation projects across South Wales. With numerous sites requiring additional electrical installation support, including EVCP Priority Sites throughout the Wales & Western region, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on critical rail infrastructure projects.
Previous rail experience is preferred but not essential. Training can be provided for the right candidates, including PTS sponsorship where required. Candidates must be willing to travel and work away when project requirements dictate.
The Role:
- Electrical installation works
- Cable installation and containment
- Power and lighting installations
- Systems Fixed Plant electrical works
- Testing and fault-finding activities
- Electrical maintenance and renewals projects
- Supporting delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects
Requirements:
Essential:
- Qualified Electrician
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong electrical installation background
- Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
- Commitment to working safely and following site procedures
Desirable:
- PTS (Personal Track Safety)
- Previous rail experience
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Electrical testing and inspection experience
