This is a full-time hybrid role for a Power Electronic Engineer based in Wandsworth, London. The engineer will be responsible for designing and testing power electronic circuits, working on digital and analog systems, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic components. This is a hands-on role that involves circuit design, simulation, PCB layout, prototyping, bench testing, and mechanical assembly for high power systems.

  • Design and develop power electronics circuits up to 100kW
  • Model and simulate power electronic circuits using tools such as SPICE
  • Carry out PCB layout and oversee board fabrication
  • Lead testing, debugging, and performance optimisation on bench
  • Proficiency in Power Electronic Engineering principles and applications
  • Hands-on experience in Circuit Design and Electronics with Altium
  • Strong background in Electrical Engineering and Testing methodologies
  • Ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and optimize electronic systems
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience of testing for EMC compliance
