The Role: This is a fixed term contract for 6 months. Our offering: This role is based in the UK and working from our offices in Goodge Street (2 days per week) and remotely from home for 3 days. We offer a supportive work environment, private medical & dental insurance, 25 days holiday and a generous pension scheme.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Check monthly macro-schedules, including titles, episodes and templates and break patterns to meet strict deadlines.
- Export break patterns to commercial sales house in line with deadlines.
- Create micro-schedules with on air presentation elements i.e. promotions/idents/sponsorship/auto menus/end credit pull backs/continuity etc.
- Provide a 24-hour service for any problems which occur in transmission that might jeopardise the channel transmission.
- Entering monthly promotional material ready for transmission.
Key Competencies Required:
- Motivated and reliable, demonstrating good time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to deal with day-to-day problems quickly and efficiently and work well under pressure.
- Working knowledge of broadcast industry.
- Able to learn new systems quickly and work both independently and as part of a wider team.
