ACP are proud to be an established private ambulance provider with a deeply rooted history of supporting the NHS. We assess, care, treat and transport hundreds of patients in urgent and emergency situations every day, across the country.

What Will You Be Doing
- You will be working as part of a team to provide a professional and caring service to all patients.
- Providing the highest standards of clinical and personal care within the inter-hospital and pre-hospital environment, within your scope of practice.
- Responding to operational requirements in a safe and efficient way as directed by the Emergency Control Centre.
- Responding to the clinical requirements of the patient following directions from a senior clinician on scene or remotely as per the clinical guidelines/protocols.
- Support the lead clinician by providing effective clinical care using appropriate knowledge and skills to assist them with making professional judgements, conducting diagnostic procedures, and providing safe and effective treatments.
- Driving all types of approved Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law.
Role Requirements
- Hold a UK manual 'Category B' driving licence for at least 3 years and no more than 3 points on your licence.
- You will hold a FREC 4 or equivalent qualification and an emergency driving qualification.
- Physical fitness is important in this role as there is sometimes a requirement to reach inaccessible patients in a hurry, carry out manual handling and CPR.
- Have a warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people.
- Lastly, you will have quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory, enhanced DBS check.
