Location Medical Services is a CQC registered company, providing professional healthcare services to the Film, TV, and Events industries. We have been around for over 25 years and have an excellent reputation for providing high-quality staff and meeting the forever changing demands of our film & TV clients.
What will you be doing:
- Pay - £17.50 per hour
- You may be working as part of an ambulance crew covering a transporting ambulance.
- Autonomous working as a solo medic providing medical attention to production crews and cast.
- Providing lifesaving treatment and stabilising patients preparing them for transporting.
- Remote location working.
- Using your own appropriate knowledge and skills to make judgements and treatment following your level of training and competency.
- Responding to operational requirements in a safe and efficient way.
- Driving all types of approved Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law.
Role Requirements:
- Hold a UK manual driving license for at least 1 year driving experience and no more than 6 points on your license.
- You will hold a Technician qualification.
- Physical fitness is important in this role as there is sometimes a requirement to reach inaccessible patients in a hurry (lots of stairs), manual handling and CPR.
- Have a warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people.
- Have an adaptable and flexible work ethic - Media productions often work 7 days a week including a mixture of shift times.
- Lastly, you will have quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
