Location Medical Services (LMS), part of the Ambulnz UK Group, is excited to announce new opportunities for doctors. We are currently recruiting for self-employed positions within our Events team.
LMS is a CQC-registered healthcare provider delivering professional medical services across a wide range of events, including music festivals, marathons, horse trials, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, and more. We also provide NHS-contracted paramedic home visiting services and support film and media productions. With over 25 years of experience, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality staff and consistently meeting the dynamic demands of our film and TV clients.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Location Medical Services (LMS) medical team, delivering safe, high-quality patient care and clinical support at events and assignments across the UK.
- Working in the medical centre, you will provide clinical leadership during the event or assignment.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, provide treatment, deliver ongoing care, and support patient transport in a variety of operational settings, under the guidance of the Clinical Director.
- Carry out duties in line with the scope of practice for a doctor, ensuring all clinical activity adheres to organisational protocols, policies, SOPs, and professional clinical guidelines. Escalate or seek clinical support as required to maintain patient safety and care standards.
- Provide lifesaving treatment, stabilise patients, and prepare them for transport.
- Represent LMS positively, upholding organisational values, and always maintaining exemplary professional conduct.
Role Requirements
- Current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), free from suspensions, cautions, or conditions of practice.
- Strong understanding of pre-hospital care and major trauma management, including operational and clinical considerations.
- Thorough knowledge of professional clinical guidelines, standards, and codes of conduct relevant to the role, with the ability to apply them in practice.
- Demonstrated experience in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine or Event Medicine, with proven capability to deliver safe and effective care in dynamic environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong and collaborative inter-professional relationships.
- Able to work independently, exercising sound judgement and initiative in clinical and operational settings.
- Possess a warm, caring personality with the ability to connect effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Capable of undertaking a full range of shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and unsocial hours.
- Provide quality references covering the last three years of employment and hold a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
