Overview

Location Medical Services (LMS) Ambulnz Group are excited to announce new opportunities for registered paramedics, offering bank/PAYE positions. LMS is a CQC registered company providing professional healthcare services to the Film, TV, and Events industries and contracted to multiple NHS paramedic home visiting services. We have over 25 years of experience with a reputation for high-quality staff and meeting the needs of our film and TV clients.

Responsibilities

  • Pay – £23.00 per hour
  • Work as part of an ambulance crew or autonomously as a solo medic providing medical attention to production crews and cast
  • Provide lifesaving treatment and stabilise patients for transport
  • Work in remote locations
  • Apply your knowledge and skills to make judgements and provide treatment within your training and competency
  • Respond to operational requirements in a safe and efficient way
  • Drive Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law

Role Requirements

  • Hold a UK manual driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience and no more than 6 points
  • Hold a Paramedic qualification and be registered with the HCPC
  • Post NQP 2 Phase and be able to provide a portfolio for review by the training and development department
  • Physical fitness is important due to potential access challenges, manual handling and CPR
  • Have a warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people
  • Adaptable and flexible work ethic – media productions may require 7 days a week with varying shift times
  • Quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check
