Overview
PARAMEDIC – PAYE role at Ambulnz Community Partners (ACP), based at the Cramlington site. ACP offers bank, self-employed and PAYE positions. ACP is an established private ambulance provider with a history of supporting the NHS, delivering assessment, care, treatment and transport for patients in urgent and emergency situations.

Pay and Benefits
PAYE and Bank pay rates apply. Salary: £51,324–£54,600 per annum (based on a 5 on, 4 off rota with varying shift times).
Paramedic (PAYE) Days: £23.50 per hour. Paramedic (PAYE) Nights: £25.00 per hour.
What Will You Be Doing
- Work as part of a team, with an Emergency Medical Technician or an Emergency Care Assistant.
- Mentor staff such as Newly Qualified Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Care Assistants.
- Provide lifesaving treatment and stabilise patients, preparing them for transport.
- Apply knowledge and skills to make informed judgments in line with training and competency.
- Respond to operational requirements in a safe and efficient manner as directed by the Emergency Operations Centre.
- Drive ambulance service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law.
Role Requirements
- Hold a UK manual driving licence (Category B) for at least 1 year, with no more than 6 points, and be over 23 for insurance purposes.
- Paramedic qualification, HCPC registration, and emergency driving qualification.
- Physical fitness to reach patients, perform manual handling and CPR.
- Warm, caring personality with the ability to connect with people.
- Quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory, enhanced DBS check.
