PAYE – Newly Qualified Paramedic Job Description
Must be actively working towards obtaining a Blue Light Driving Qualification.
The NQP will work as part of an ambulance crew for the assessment, care, treatment, and transportation of emergency, urgent, and routine calls. They will provide advanced clinical interventions, including drug therapies at the scene, and may administer medication within PGD guidelines. They will undertake emergency blue light driving and work in various locations including ambulance/rapid response vehicles, patients\’ homes, primary care settings, and accident and emergency departments.
Qualifications:
- Paramedic Science Degree
- HCPC registration
- Hold a valid EU Driving License
- Blue light Qualification (or planning to obtain this qualification)
- All mandatory and statutory training up to date
