Overview
Emergency Medical Technician – Full time PAYE based at Shepperton Studios. Location Medical Services (LMS) Ambulnz Group are recruiting new opportunities for EMTs, offering bank/PAYE positions. Location Medical Services is a CQC registered company providing professional healthcare services to the Film, TV, and Events industries. We are contracted to NHS paramedic home visiting services and have an established 25+ year track record of delivering high quality staff to film and TV clients.
What Will You Be Doing
- Pay – £17.50 per hour
- Shift times are 07:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday
- Cover the medical cabin at Shepperton Studios; may be required to work off-site in other locations
- Work as part of an ambulance crew or as a solo medic providing medical attention to production crews and cast
- Provide lifesaving treatment and stabilise patients for transport
- Apply your knowledge and skills to make sound clinical judgments within your training and competency
- Respond to operational requirements in a safe and efficient manner
- Drive authorised Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency blue-light conditions in compliance with road traffic law
Role Requirements
- Hold a UK manual driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience and no more than 6 points
- Technician qualification
- Physical fitness; ability to reach inaccessible patients, manual handling and CPR as needed
- A warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people
- Adaptable and flexible work ethic; media productions may require 7 days a week with varied shift times
- Quality references covering the last three years of employment history and satisfactory enhanced DBS check
