Pay & Package
- Hours: 42 hours per week (full-time)
- Location: NE23 1WG
- Annual Leave: Minimum 20 days plus bank holidays
- Hourly Pay Rates:
- Emergency Care Assistant (PAYE) – Days £15.75 per hour
- Emergency Care Assistant (PAYE) – Nights (Monday–Thursday) £16.40 per hour
- Emergency Care Assistant (PAYE) – Nights (Friday–Sunday) £17.25 per hour
Shift Patterns
- 5 on / 4 off
- 4 on / 5 off (24/7 rota including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays)
Safer Recruitment Requirements
To join our frontline team, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
- Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 4) or Level 3 Diploma in Ambulance Emergency and Urgent Care Support
- Previous patient-facing or frontline experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Calm, compassionate, and professional approach
- Ability to successfully complete all safer recruitment checks including:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Occupational Health clearance
- Right to Work checks
- Driving licence checks
- Employment reference checks
