A role with impact

We are seeking a clinically driven, passionate, and dynamic Clinical Specialist to join our South Endoscopy team, supporting our single-use ureteroscopy portfolio. You will serve as the clinical expert in the field, working alongside the sales team to drive adoption, provide hands-on support in theatre, and ensure customers are confident and successful in using Ambu's cutting-edge devices. This role is ideal for a nurse, ODP, or clinical professional with a strong background in urology/endoscopy that’s looking to transition into a commercial, customer-facing role while continuing to make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-theatre support during procedures, acting as the expert on scope handling, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Set up and support Territory Managers in clinical trials.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to identify and develop centres of excellence regionally and build accredited training programs.
  • Convey compelling health-economic arguments to stakeholders beyond clinical areas (procurement, finance etc.).
  • Maintain close relationships with customers in order to grow the business within existing accounts.
  • Keep the CRM system and other reporting mechanisms up to date to record customer activity and opportunity and manage your own pipeline in the CRM system, reporting monthly.
  • Gather market intelligence and disseminate throughout the organisation.
  • Identify and develop relationships with Regional KOL's.
  • Prepare & deliver effective presentations.

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have a background as Registered Nurse, Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), or similar clinical qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a urology or theatre-based role, ideally within endourology or ureteroscopy. You're passionate about improving patient outcomes and theatre efficiency through innovative technology and you're able to convey health economic, financial and clinical benefits to a broad spectrum of personnel.

Furthermore, you:

  • Carry strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clinical teams.
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative commercial environment.
  • Are a self-starter, able to work on their own and use your own initiative.
  • Demonstrate commercial credibility - including price/value discussions, and have excellent negotiation and administration skills.
  • Are able to engage with all levels of clinical and management staff.
  • Can effectively plan and prepare for customer meetings with clear objectives and engage positively with all customers.
  • Can research and identify critical/topical issues affecting key customers.

Preferable to have completed an accredited Theatre Access Course. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within assigned region (some overnight stays may be required). Flexibility to attend meetings and conferences.
