With annual recurring revenues exceeding £100m and operations spanning multiple international markets, the business is entering a critical phase of growth and value creation, with a targeted investment or liquidity event anticipated within the next 2-3 years.
Reporting directly into the executive leadership team, the Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation, providing strategic financial leadership whilst maintaining robust governance, control and operational excellence across the group.
The Opportunity
This is a broad and highly visible leadership role that offers the opportunity to influence business strategy, support transformational initiatives and help drive long-term shareholder value.
You will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, COO and Chief Commercial Officer, providing commercial insight, strategic challenge and financial expertise to support key decision-making across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include
- Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the executive team to deliver the group's strategic objectives and growth plans
- Support business integrations and transformation programmes
- Drive commercial awareness and financially informed decision-making across the organisation
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process across the group.
- Development of FP&A reporting support the business with data to drive operational decision making
- Ensure robust financial control, reporting accuracy and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Monitor working capital performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide clear insight into business performance, risks and opportunities for the executive team and shareholders.
- Treasury, Tax & Governance
- Lead the group's treasury strategy, including banking relationships, funding, foreign exchange exposure and risk management.
- Oversee group-wide financial governance, intercompany structures and reporting frameworks.
- Work closely with tax advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient tax structures and compliant transfer pricing arrangements.
- Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Drive process improvement, standardisation and scalability across the finance function.
- Build strong relationships across operational and commercial teams to ensure finance remains a valued business partner.
About You
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused finance leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
You will be
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- An experienced Finance Director, Group Financial Controller or senior finance leader with experience operating within a multi-entity, international environment.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial and evolving business.
- A natural leader with a track record of developing successful finance teams.
- An excellent communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders at Board and executive level.
- Experienced in supporting acquisitions, integrations and business transformation.
- Experienced in treasury management, tax structuring and international financial operations.
