Each AMBOSSian is passionate about being the champion of clinicians today - this motivates and unites us each day towards success.
Why can this position be exciting for you?
Have you used AMBOSS? Then you already know how much time our solution can save and how much of a difference it makes. Even if you are not a user but have completed your medical degree and are keen to actively build long-term partnerships with hospitals, this could be the job for you! Your goal would be to promote the growth of AMBOSS and help bring it to hospitals and clinics. Your contributions will directly support our mission to equip trainee doctors and physicians in the UK with the best medical knowledge for delivering exceptional care.
This dynamic role offers a mix of market strategy creation, business development, and marketing, providing opportunities to embrace your entrepreneurial spirit. Most importantly, you’ll see your impact firsthand—one medical resident and one doctor at a time.
You will:
- Plan which potential hospital and trust partners in the UK and other regions in Europe do not yet offer their doctors an AMBOSS license.
- Engage with active users and relevant decision‑makers, building strong relationships while also extending our partnerships beyond universities into their affiliated hospitals so we can empower users throughout their medical journey.
- Depending on the target group, conduct needs analyses or create effective presentations tailored to the needs and requirements of the respective hospital partner.
- Serve as interface between doctors and various AMBOSS teams such as Customer Success, Sales Operations, and Marketing.
- Plan projects and events on behalf of AMBOSS – there are always opportunities to get involved and implement your ideas.
- Ensure being a reliable partner to clinics, from the initial approach to successful implementation.
- Work closely with our Data Team and Sales Operations to analyze and evaluate usage data.
- Represent AMBOSS at events and actively network to increase brand awareness.
- Drive product and commercial partnerships with other businesses in the field to drive awareness and revenue.
- Test newly implemented concepts and newly developed products such as AMBOSS AI Mode.
- Assess product market‑fit of AMBOSS for the UK, including knowledge of the practice guidelines and licensing across UK trusts.
- Have the chance to branch out and support our other European markets as we grow.
You bring:
- Medical background: a licensed medical degree from a country in the UK, ideally complemented by clinical experience to ensure a deep understanding of the challenges in healthcare.
- Strong communication skills: adapt language to persuade diverse stakeholders and present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Curiosity and openness to new things: ability to understand customer needs and stay informed about the state of the art in the medical and EdTech sector.
- Enthusiasm for digitalization: strong interest in digital solutions and their positive impact on medical education and clinical practice.
- Networking experience or strong interest in relationship building in the healthcare sector.
- Willingness to travel: enjoy traveling and getting to know different hospitals and clinics and physicians in the UK region.
- Project management skills: efficiently manage multiple parallel projects, especially in a dynamic environment such as healthcare.
- Independent working style: work independently and in a structured manner, including excellent organizational and time management skills.
This is a full-time role, and we’re looking for someone who can dedicate 40 hours per week and make a meaningful impact in medical education.
Benefits:
- Learning & Development (Internal & external trainings, workshops & hackathons, AI cross-talks & seminars, Blinkist access, and more)
- Work From Somewhere Sunny (Access to our offices in Cagliari and Cape Town, visit the HQs, Berlin in summer)
