We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection work within social housing properties. The ideal candidate will be fully certified with experience in domestic environments and a strong understanding of renewable heating technologies, such as air source heat pumps and other low-carbon systems. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades within tenanted and void social housing properties. * Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and remedial works in line with BS7671 (18th Edition) and 2391 Inspection & Testing standards. * Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems associated with renewable heating systems, including air source heat pumps and other energy-efficient technologies. * Diagnose and repair faults in domestic wiring systems, consumer units, and heating control systems. Essential Requirements: * City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) * AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) * City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent in Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations * Proven experience working in domestic and social housing environments * Strong knowledge of current IET wiring regulations and best practices * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable: * Experience with renewable energy systems such as air source heat pumps, solar PV, or smart heating controls * Knowledge of Part P of the Building Regulations * CSCS/ECS Card * Experience working in occupied properties with good customer-facing skills Benefits: * Competitive salary with overtime opportunities * Company van, and uniform provided * Pension scheme * 22 days holiday + bank holidays * Ongoing training and certification support * Opportunity to work on energy-efficient and innovative renewable projects This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company focused on sustainability and energy efficiency in housing.
