An experienced Bookkeeper is now sought to join this extremely busy Residential Lettings business in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

The Package:

  • Up to £35,000pa Depending on Experience
  • Pension
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Company Events
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

The Person:

  • A proven Bookkeeper with a background in the property sector
  • Knowledge of Alto software would be an advantage
  • Experienced with Excel
  • Experience of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS)
  • Ideally hold a Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification

The Role:

  • Supporting the business in all aspects of day to day bookkeeping, including logging rent payments, allocating deposits, chasing overdue rents and payments
  • Raising and issuing invoices to clients and processing contractor invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Raising and issuing statements
  • Uploading payments for approval
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to the Finance Director
