Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and expereinced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our temporary staffing team across Slough and the wider Berkshire area.

This flexible agency role is ideal for care professionals experienced in delivering high-quality, person-centred care across diverse environments.

Delivery: Providing tailored care that meets the distinct needs of individuals across different settings, whether supporting young people in children's homes or elderly residents in nursing facilities.

  • Personal Care & Dignity: Assisting residents and young individuals with daily living activities (washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting) with the utmost dignity, respect, and privacy.
  • Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Monitoring the physical, behavioral, and emotional wellbeing of residents.

Promptly reporting any safeguarding concerns, health changes, or incidents to the shift manager or registered home manager.

  • Companionship & Positive

Engagement: Building professional, trusting relationships with residents and young people to reduce isolation, support emotional development, and promote mental wellbeing.

  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintaining precise, up-to-date daily care records, logbooks, and incident reports in line with CQC and Ofsted framework standards.
  • . Candidate Requirements (About You)

Previous experience (minimum 6 months to 1 year) as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker within UK children's homes, adult residential care, or nursing environments.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (preferably registered on the Update Service, or willing to apply).

Up-to-date Mandatory Training certificates (including Safeguarding training relevant to adults and/or children).

  • Strong communication skills, empathy, resilience, and a reliable work ethic.
  • Right to work in the UK.
