At Ambitious College, we support autistic young people and learners with additional needs to thrive, achieve their goals, and lead fulfilling lives. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team. In a trans-disciplinary model, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learners to access and progress through their personalised study programmes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy interventions for pupils and students through both individual and group programmes.
- Assess learner needs within scope of practice and contribute to setting meaningful and achievable targets.
- Work collaboratively with education and therapy colleagues to embed communication strategies throughout daily learning experiences.
- Write speech and language therapy programmes and support staff to deliver these interventions with fidelity and consistency.
- Review, refine, and develop the universal speech and language therapy offer within the setting, ensuring best practice and positive outcomes for all learners.
