At Ambitious about Autism, we're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team on a 12 month MAT cover. This is a critical role within the Financial Accounting function ensuring that processing is kept up to date and that accounting records are accurately input onto the finance system.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up new suppliers on the finance system
  • Managing the purchase ledger
  • Entering invoices onto the finance system
  • Training new staff on using the finance system
  • Entering all expense claims and checking that receipts are attached

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven financial accounting experience
  • Proven experience in all areas of transactional accounting including the purchasing and sales ledgers
  • A good level of numeracy and financial literacy
  • Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard whilst effectively prioritising workload
