They are now seeking a Group IT Manager, who will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's technology strategy, identifying opportunities to strengthen infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and ensure systems effectively support wider business objectives.

In this role, you will take ownership of IT across 3 offices, ensuring a reliable, secure and efficient technology environment while enhancing systems, support and ways of working.
- Provide first-line support for all technical queries, resolving day-to-day system and user issues
- Oversee devices and systems from setup through to maintenance, repair and replacement
- Manage new starter and leaver processes, including access, configuration and equipment handling
- Streamline support processes to improve response times and user experience
- Maintain accurate records of assets, licences and systems through regular reviews
- Work with external providers to manage connectivity, systems and service performance
- Identify and implement upgrades to improve performance, usability and cost efficiency
- Strengthen IT security measures, including access control, data protection and system integrity
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and internal governance standards
- Oversee supplier contracts, renewals and ongoing service relationships
- Drive efficiencies through automation and improved processes
- Support delivery of IT initiatives and contribute to longer-term technology planning
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a broad IT role supporting multiple sites or business units
- Strong hands-on background in technical support, systems management and basic infrastructure
- Solid knowledge of Windows and/or macOS, user access management and core business tools
- Good understanding of IT security, data protection and backup processes
- Experience managing networks, hardware, cloud platforms and third-party suppliers
- Confident communicator, able to explain technical issues in a clear and user-friendly way
- Well organised, proactive and able to manage workload independently
- Customer-focused approach with a professional, approachable manner
