As the business continues to grow, they are now seeking a Sales Consultant / Italy Travel Sales Agent to join their team — someone who will take ownership of client relationships and play a central role in crafting personalised Italy travel experiences, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

The Role: In this role, you will be instrumental in creating memorable travel experiences for clients while maximising sales opportunities — managing the full journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking.

  • Manage client enquiries and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Design bespoke day tour itineraries tailored to individual client needs
  • Handle requests, itineraries and bookings from travel agents
  • Create customised itinerary content and supporting documentation
  • Manage relationships with guides and suppliers across Italy
  • Book guides, tickets and other service providers
  • Source and book accommodation for clients

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience with a tour operator, ideally providing bespoke itineraries for high-level clients including transfers, tours and accommodation
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical ability
  • Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision
  • Able to learn new operating systems quickly
  • Flexible with working hours — clients are primarily US-based, so availability outside standard UK hours is required
