Job Description:
- Produce accurate financial reports, track performance against budgets, and support the finance team while helping improve processes across multiple entities.
- Compile monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyse financial outcomes versus budgets and prior months, identifying significant trends and deviations.
- Prepare monthly group reports featuring detailed analysis and explanatory notes.
- Process and record revenue for several entities, ensuring compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.
- Coordinate budgeting and expense monitoring for FAM trips in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Manage bank reconciliations and oversee expenditure to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Record accruals and prepayments to maintain precise expense allocation.
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
- Support the implementation of a new accounting system.
- Provide occasional assistance to the Heads of Finance and the Regional Finance Officer.
- Mentor and assist Finance Team members as needed.
Experience Required:
- Fully or partly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or similar).
- At least three years’ experience in management accounting.
- Good Excel skills and confident using accounting systems such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Strong with numbers and detail-focused.
- Well organised and able to adapt to changing tasks.
- Proactive and willing to help in different areas when needed.
