Job Description:

  • Produce accurate financial reports, track performance against budgets, and support the finance team while helping improve processes across multiple entities.
  • Compile monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyse financial outcomes versus budgets and prior months, identifying significant trends and deviations.
  • Prepare monthly group reports featuring detailed analysis and explanatory notes.
  • Process and record revenue for several entities, ensuring compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate budgeting and expense monitoring for FAM trips in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and oversee expenditure to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Record accruals and prepayments to maintain precise expense allocation.
  • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
  • Support the implementation of a new accounting system.
  • Provide occasional assistance to the Heads of Finance and the Regional Finance Officer.
  • Mentor and assist Finance Team members as needed.

Experience Required:

  • Fully or partly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or similar).
  • At least three years’ experience in management accounting.
  • Good Excel skills and confident using accounting systems such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Strong with numbers and detail-focused.
  • Well organised and able to adapt to changing tasks.
  • Proactive and willing to help in different areas when needed.
