Yard Operative – Temporary to Permanent | Outskirts of Newark | £12.50 per hour | Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
We’re working with a well-established client based just outside Newark, looking to recruit a Yard Operative to join their growing team. This is a temporary to permanent position with real opportunities for progression – including international travel once permanent!
Please note: Own transport is essential due to the location.
What you’ll be doing
- Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Checking and maintaining stock levels
- Logging incoming goods accurately
- Organising and managing product placement in the yard
- Liaising with customers, delivery drivers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
- Following all health and safety procedures
What we’re looking for
- Someone physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- A reliable and motivated team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
