Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative with an FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Nottingham.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative who is confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift and working in a busy outdoor yard environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving and positioning materials around the yard
- Preparing materials and goods for dispatch
- Keeping the yard organised, clean and safe
- Completing general yard and warehouse duties as required
- Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Have previous experience working in a yard, warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Be confident operating an FLT in a busy environment
- Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Have a good understanding of workplace health & safety
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Be able to work well independently and as part of a team
