Ambitions Personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established clients for a Yard Operative to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a temporary to permanent position, with a pay review after successfully completing the 12-week probation period. This is a physically active, outdoor role, so applicants must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
Working Hours
- Monday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
- Tuesday to Friday: 5:00am - 2:00pm
- Overtime available
Pay
- £13.50 per hour during the initial 12-week probation period
- Pay review upon successful completion of probation

Duties
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to load, unload and move materials safely around the yard
- General yard duties including organising stock and maintaining a tidy work area
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Assisting with stock movements and material handling
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a busy outdoor operations team
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Telehandler licence (desirable)
- Loading Shovel licence (desirable)
- Previous experience working in an outdoor environment is essential
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work in all weather conditions
- Good awareness of health and safety
