We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our client’s operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator to work on a varied range of safety-critical and bespoke projects, with the opportunity to develop their skills alongside experienced mentors.
The Role
As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work in line with established procedures and safety standards. You will work on a wide variety of projects and provide additional operational support where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld a wide range of safety-critical and bespoke items.
- Interpret customer requirements and produce work to the required specification and quality standards.
- Work safely and effectively as part of a team.
- Support supervisors and colleagues with day-to-day operational requirements.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
- Minimise material waste and remain mindful of the financial impact of your work.
- Follow written instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
About You
We are looking for a practical and conscientious Fabricator Welder with a strong work ethic and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Essential
- Recognised qualification in welding and fabrication.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Fabricator.
- Strong practical and fabrication skills.
- Good concentration and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written instructions and maintain records.
- Safety-conscious approach to working.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Desirable
- Previous experience fabricating tanks and/or vessels.
- Experience using powered rollers.
