We are looking for reliable, detail-focused Customs Administrator to join our team. Temporary - Permanent opportunities.
You will help prepare and complete customs declarations for imports and exports, ensuring goods can move without delays.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and completing customs entries for import and export shipments
- Entering data accurately across multiple software systems
- Responding to customs queries, including commodity codes, duty rates, licences and supporting documents
- Checking that duty and VAT calculations are correct before entries are accepted
- Keeping up to date with customs legislation and procedures
- Following compliance processes at all times
- Communicating professionally with customers, colleagues and key stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to work accurately in a busy, multi-software environment
- Customs or logistics experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided
- A responsible approach to following procedures and preventing financial loss
Training:
Your initial training will take place Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm before moving onto the night‑shift rota.
