We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT General Operative to join a busy recycling and heavy industrial operation based in Whittlesey. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company specialising in metal extraction and recycling processes within a heavy industry environment.

Shift Options:

  • Fixed Afternoon Shift
  • Rotating Morning/Afternoon Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Supporting recycling and metal extraction operations
  • Working within a heavy industrial/base ash processing environment
  • General operative duties as required
  • Maintaining health & safety standards on site

Requirements:

  • Valid RTITB Counterbalance FLT Licence essential
  • Previous experience within recycling, quarrying, waste management, aggregates, or heavy industry preferred
  • Comfortable working in a dusty, heavy industrial environment
  • Reliable, hardworking, and safety conscious
  • Ability to work as part of a team
