Temporary Finance Support Starting September
Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a flexible temporary opportunity? We’re looking for someone to join a small, friendly team on the outskirts of Newark, providing finance support. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants flexibility around their schedule, with up to 30 hours per week and the ability to agree hours that work for you.
The Role
- Working closely with the Finance Controller and experienced Accounts Manager, you’ll provide general finance support across a variety of duties, including:
- Processing purchase ledger and sales invoices using Sage.
- Inputting and processing timesheets.
- Completing bank reconciliations.
- Supporting the Finance Controller and Accounts Manager with day-to-day finance tasks.
- Handling general finance administration and ensuring records are accurate.
- Working as part of a small, supportive team and helping wherever needed.
About You
- We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous Sage experience – essential.
- Has good general finance/accounts experience.
- Is organised, reliable and detail-focused.
- Can work independently and manage their own workload.
- Is happy taking direction and supporting a small team.
- Can commit to the role for approximately six months.
- Has their own car, as the office is located on the outskirts of Newark.
