Europe Supply Chain Manager , you’ll play a key role in ensuring the business has the right products, suppliers and commercial arrangements in place to support customer demand and on‑time delivery.

This is a varied role combining procurement, supplier management, commercial negotiation and supply chain , so it would suit someone who enjoys being hands‑on but also wants the opportunity to influence purchasing strategy and drive improvements.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a range of products and materials, identifying the best suppliers and negotiating the right balance of price, quality and delivery .

Your responsibilities will include

  • Sourcing products and suppliers across raw materials, finished goods and packaging.
  • Running tenders, evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical considerations.
  • Negotiating supplier agreements and contracts.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, quality and service levels.
  • Working closely with Quality, Planning, Marketing, IT, Sales and other internal teams.
  • Supporting security and sustainability of supply across essential products and services.
  • Monitoring market conditions and forecasting price trends and their potential impact on the business.
  • Analysing spend and producing reports on purchasing activity, savings and supplier performance.
  • Ensuring suppliers understand and align with wider business objectives.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, innovation, legislation and technology affecting procurement and supply chain.
  • Maintaining vendor approval files and supplier profiles.
  • Working closely with the Quality team to ensure products meet required specifications and relevant HACCP, GMP+, FAMIQS and UFAS standards.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, organised and confident dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You’ll ideally have

  • Previous experience within procurement, purchasing or supply chain .
  • Experience sourcing suppliers and negotiating price, terms or contracts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an ability to evaluate value, quality and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge existing processes and identify improvements.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across different departments.
